Spend Analyser is a personal expense/card/loan tracker. You sign in with Google. Your financial data — accounts, transactions, categories, reminders — is stored in your own Google Drive, as a single file the app creates. We don't have a database of your financial data, we don't sell or share anything, and we don't show ads.
Signing in with Google requests one narrow permission: the drive.file scope. This lets the app see and write only the one backup file it creates — it cannot browse, read, or modify anything else in your Google Drive, and never requests broader access.
We also read your Google account email (shown to you in the app so you know which account you're signed in as) and your name/profile photo, as provided by Google's standard sign-in screen.
To know how many people use the app, we record your email address along with when you first and most recently signed in, and how many times. That's it — no financial data, no activity within the app, no device fingerprinting, no analytics or advertising trackers of any kind. This record is only ever viewed directly by the app's developer through their own database console — there is no page or API in the app that displays it to anyone, including other users.
The only third party involved is Google, for Sign-In and Drive storage — governed by Google's own privacy policy. We don't use any other analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Signing out clears the local cache on that device. Deleting the backup file from your Google Drive (or revoking the app's access under your Google Account permissions) removes your financial data entirely. To have your sign-in record removed too, contact us below.
